Join us for three days of fun activities to celebrate The Lexicon's 1st Birthday, from 7-9 September.
With plenty of surprises around each corner, The Lexicon’s walkways, avenues and squares will once again be brought to life during its Big Birthday Bash, through live music, magicians, jugglers, aerial performers and stilt walkers.
On Saturday September 8, join the fun of a huge game of Pass the Parcel in Bond Square from midday, and you won’t want to miss The Lexicon Proms from 5pm. Following the success of the event early this year, visitors can enjoy performances from British soul singer Audley Anderson, local vocal quartet Vade, Vocalese choir and the Sandhurst Silver Band… plus, street food, ice cream and a prosecco bar!
Make sure you stop by the Welcome Hall from midday Monday 3 – Thursday September 6 to watch illustrator Dave Draws create a huge doodle map of Bracknell and the surrounding area, featuring local landmarks interspersed with fun doodles.
To wrap up the celebrations, on Sunday September 9, Bond Square will be transformed for a Tea Party, complete with a Swing Band while stilt walkers and glitter face painters will make sure visitors are in the mood to party!
Not only will there be a variety of fantastic entertainment taking place all weekend, you can also enjoy free cupcakes, exclusive retailer discounts and the chance to win some amazing prizes.
We’ll see you there!
