Once upon a time. The Lexicon Bracknell invited arts, culture and countryside blogger Muddy Stilettoes to wipe down her shoes and head for to The Lexicon, Bracknell to see what Berkshire’s newest shopping destination has to offer.

My kind of place
The Lexicon, Bracknell is a lovely space – easy to park, clean and pleasant to drift around, with plenty of shops to cater for women in the 30 to 45 bracket.
All my go-to places are here: M&S, H&M, Office, Fenwick and Topshop. Most of them are well stocked with the must-buy items you see in magazines, websites and on Instagram.
Need them now
I’ve been eyeing up a pair of Adidas Continental 80 trainers for ages and there they were, waiting for me in Footlocker. I also treated myself to a cool khaki cotton twill jacket in H&M and a pair of lovely wicker storm lanterns for the house.
On the wish list
If money was no object, I’d be straight into Fenwick to snap up a Max Mara weekend dress dress, Chanel perfume, make up from Charlotte Tilbury, Mac and Bobbi Brown, a Mulberry bag (obvs) and Paige jeans.
The main event
It’s great that The Lexicon do so many family events. The grown up events are fab too – can’t wait to see more Ascot Style Events and things like that. More excuses to visit would be awesome!
All my visits to The Lexicon have been positive experiences. M&S have nailed summer this year, I got to visit my favourite stand in Fenwick (gin, gin and more gin), indulge my plant fetish in various stores and enjoy summer fruit pancakes at Coffee Barker. Delicious!
