Summer Safari at The Lexicon

From August 1 to August 30 2025, visitors to The Lexicon will be entertained by some very unusual guests.

Throughout the town centre animatronic animals such as an elephant, crocodile, giraffe, lion and tiger will be forming part of a special Safari trail.

Hop aboard The Lexicon Express and wander around the town centre to discover the whereabouts of all the animatronic and other animals that make-up the trail. Complete the trial leaflet, pop it one of the three post boxes around town and you could be in with a chance to win one of three family tickets to Woburn Safari worth £114 each. Don't forget to collect up to four different stickers throughout August.

There’s also a host of other fun activities taking place including face painting, storytelling, competitions and real animal visits

Every day (sticker)	Jump onboard The Lexicon Express from outside Amorino on The Avenue for just £1 per trip, running daily between 10am and 5pm.
Every day (sticker)	Find all 8 animatronic animals and the 10 window vinyls for a chance to win one of three family tickets to Woburn Safari Park!
Every day	How many monkeys can you spot in the pod (opposite River Island)? Count them for a chance to win one of three family tickets to Go Ape!
Every day	Strike a pose this summer! Find our “face in the hole” boards around town or relax in the giant safari deck chair. 📸Snap a photo, tag us, and share it for a chance to win one of four £25 gift cards from The Lexicon!
Mondays Bookings required	Join us for free animal storytelling fun at 10:30am and 2:30pm! Wednesdays (sticker)	Join us for free creative fun at Craft Coop in Princess Square — make and colour-in your own animal masks between 10am and 12noon!
Fridays	Meet birds of prey, giant tortoises, and reptiles between 10am and 5pm: Friday 1 and 15 August: Berkshire Birds of Prey in Princess Square Friday 8 August: Aldabra Giant Tortoises in Bond Square Friday 22 and 29 August: Tom’s Talking Reptiles in Princess Square
Saturdays (sticker)	Free face painting outside Boots between 11am and 5pm
