The Owner shall exclusively now and hereinafter own all rights, title and interest therein. The Owner will be free to use any Submissions for any purpose whatsoever.

Personal information we collect

When you contact us, we will collect your name and the contact details and other personal information you provide to us. We will use this information to respond to your query, because it is in our legitimate interests to respond to enquiries.

If you use our app, we will collect the personal information you enter in to the app. We will use this to understand how you use your services, because it is in our legitimate interests to improve our business and develop new services.

When you visit The Lexicon, our WiFi technology will collect the MAC address (a unique device identifier) from your mobile device, along with the make of the device, if the wireless setting on the device is enabled. We use this information to understand how visitors use the public areas of The Lexicon when they visit, because it is in our legitimate interests to understand how the public areas are used so we can improve our venue and the services we offer.

If you register to use the guest WiFi service when you visit The Lexicon, we will collect the information you provide to us when you sign up. This includes your name and email. We use this information to authenticate your access to the WiFi service, because this is necessary for the contract you enter in to with us when you accept our terms of service. We will also use this information to understand how you use the public areas of The Lexicon when you visit, because it is in our legitimate interests to understand how the public areas are used so we can improve our venue and the services we offer.

If you have given us your consent, we will also send you, by email, information about goods, offers and services offered by our retailers which you may be interested in, and events funded and organised by Bracknell General Partnership Limited. Terms & conditions 

Please read these promotion rules carefully. By entering a promotion, you are deemed to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions. 


  1. To enter a promotion, you must be: (a) from Berkshire and neighbouring counties; (b) aged 18 years or over at the time of entry and (c) complete the short survey on the reverse of the entry forms. 
  2. The promotion will run from Friday 13 September to Tuesday 17 September 2024 (the ‘Promotion Period’). 
  3. To participate in the promotion, and to qualify for entry, entrants must answer six questions using the entry from which will appear as part of the post on The Lexicon Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/TheLexiconBracknell). 
  4. Closing date is midnight on Tuesday 17 September 2024. 
  5. There is one prize to be won which is a £25 gift card from The Lexicon. 
  6. Promotions are not open to employees (or members of their immediate families) of the Promoter, its agencies or anybody connected with the promotions. 
  7. No purchase necessary to enter. 
  8. The winner will be randomly selected and notified by Friday 20 September 2024. 
  9. The prize will need to be collected from The Lexicon Management Suite, Bracknell (lower ground floor of The Avenue Car Park) within two weeks. The winner will need to bring a form of ID. Unfortunately, the prize/s cannot be posted to the winner/s. 
  10. The winner must contact The Lexicon via their contact number within 24 hours of the Promoter notifying them that they have won the prize. The Lexicon will attempt to contact the winner three times. In the event that a winner fails to provide such details within this period, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner from all remaining entries in the promotion, with the originally selected winner forfeiting their right to the prize. 
  11. Each promotion result is final and no correspondence will be entered into, except with the winner. 
  12. Details of the winners can be obtained by sending an SAE to The Lexicon “Fancy winning a £25 gift card”, The Lexicon Management Suite, The Avenue Car Park, Bracknell, RG12 1AP to be received no later than 30 September 2024.
  13. The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any entries that fail to be submitted or are delayed for any reason. Proof of submitting an entry is not proof of receipt with the Promoter. The Promoter cannot be responsible in the event that it is unable to contact a winner, or a winner fails to receive their prize, as a result of having provided inaccurate or incorrect contact/address details. 
  14. Promotion winners may be required to participate in future publicity. 
  15. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or suspend any promotion or extend the entry period or disqualify any participant at any time without giving advance notice, in the event that it cannot be guaranteed that a promotion can be carried out fairly or correctly for technical, legal or other reasons or if the Promoter suspects that any person has been manipulating entries or the prize draws or has acted unethically or in breach of these terms and conditions in any way. 
  16. Entrants are deemed to have accepted the entry rules set out in all promotional materials and these terms and conditions when participating in a promotion running during the Promotion Period. 
  17. If any of the provisions of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part that part shall be severed from the remainder of the provisions and the validity of the other provisions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected. 
  18. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. 
  19. The winners names and addresses will be held by the Promoter for 30 days after which such data will be deleted. The data is held for this period of time to ensure compliance with the other terms and conditions of the competition, including arranging for delivery of prizes to winners. Any winner can request for their data to be deleted before the expiry of this period by writing to The Lexicon, The Lexicon Management Suite, The Avenue Car Park, Bracknell, RG12 1AP, although the Promoter cannot be held responsible if such request means that it is not possible for delivery of that winners prize to be completed.
