To support the opening of the new store in Bracknell, Deichmann are looking to recruit a team of Sales Assistants who will ensure that all customers in store experience high standards of customer service. In addition, you will be required to undertake tasks such as stock intake, stock replenishment, stock take, store transfers, till transactions and general tidying of the sales floor.
 
All applicants must be numerate and have good communication skills, particularly verbal, in order to interact effectively with a diverse customer base. Applicants must be fully flexible in terms of their working hours, as you may be required to work on both weekdays and/or weekends (Monday – Sunday, hours to be agreed by rota) including bank holidays. In addition, you will be a team player and will enjoy working in a fast paced, customer facing environment.
 
In addition to the appropriate hourly rate these positions attract a non-contractual sales bonus and staff discounts are available on products.

To support the opening of the new store in Bracknell, Deichmann are looking to recruit a team of supervisors who will ensure that all customers in store experience high standards of customer service. In addition, you will be required to oversee and undertake tasks such as stock-intake, stock-replenishment, stock-take, store transfers, till transactions and general tidying of the sales floor. Additionally you may also be responsible for store opening and closing (key holder), including cashing up and completion of associated administrative activities.

Responsible for supporting the store team in the delivery of excellent customer service and to ensure that the store, team and stock remains safe and secure.
 
Key Tasks
 

  • Drive the highest levels of internal and external customer service throughout the area of responsibility ensuring that the store profit and strategic objectives are met and exceeded.
  • Uphold and deliver customer focus in all interactions, acting as a Fenwick Brand Ambassador, leading by example and representing Fenwick to exceed service and sales expectations.
  • Utilise equipment, systems and information to maintain store service standards and react to issues in a prompt and timely manner.
  • Adhere to store policy regarding physical security, and highlight any concerns through swift and effective communication.
  • Conduct equipment checks in line with store policy and routines, or as directed by the line manager.
  • Use training and equipment to deter and detect crime. Once detected, alert the store management team and the line manager of the identified risks.
  • Use all available equipment, systems, information, and functional processes to investigate internal and external crime and communicate concerns in a timely manner.
  • Detect and deter criminal offenders in a professional manner, in line with UK legislation and company policy and engage with colleagues to share common problems, solutions and best practice.
  • Responsible for raising awareness on security & crime within the store, and advise all who work in Fenwick on best practice basics including the necessary loos prevention training to all store personnel.
