Changing facilities

The Changing Places facility is situated in The Avenue Car Park. Access to this room is via a radar key. Please call 01344 596720 or visit http://bracknelltowncouncil.gov.uk/services/ for more information.

These facilities are open when The Lexicon is open and include:

  • An adult-sized and height-adjustable changing bench
  • A ceiling track hoist designed to be used with loop attachment slings
  • A centrally placed toilet with room either side for carers
  • Shower facilities

Accessible lifts and walkways

All of our car parks have lifts that provide access into the main retail areas of The Lexicon. Larger stores including Marks & Spencer, Fenwick, H&M, Primark, Waterstones, Next, Topshop and Topman and Boots also have lifts.

AccessAble

In conjunction with Bracknell Forest Council new detailed accessibility guides for key destinations in The Lexicon have been commissioned. The guides provide detailed information about accessibility including facts, figures and photographs. Disabled parking

There are five car parks within easy reach of The Lexicon, and all provide accessible parking for Blue Badge permit holders. Learn more about accessible parking here.

Shopmobility

Shopmobility offers shoppers loan of wheelchairs, power chairs and power scooters for a small fee, to use during your visit to The Lexicon.
Bracknell Shopmobility is located alongside WH Smith in Princess Square and is open Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The closest car park is High Street Car Park which has direct access to Shopmobility.

Bracknell Shopmobility is supported by Bracknell Forest Council and Bracknell Regeneration Partnership. It’s a not-for-profit charitable organisation with all funds going towards providing services for users.

Assistance dogs including guide dogs, hearing dogs for deaf people and support dogs are always welcome at The Lexicon.
