Get ready for wagging tails and pawsome fun as Paws at The Lexicon returns this May half‑term. The town centre will be transformed into a celebration of all things canine, with free activities and interactive experiences for all ages. Funds raised throughout the event will support Guide Dogs, a locally based charity.
Some activities will feature real dogs, while *are dog‑themed with no dogs present — so there’s something for everyone to enjoy. All activities are free and take place between 11.00am and 4.00pm.
Tuesday 26 to Friday 29* May | Union Square (opposite Boots)
Dog owners can put their pups to the test on our fun agility course, with participating dogs rewarded with treats and rosettes. *Friday 29 May, soft toy‑only session for younger children who want to join in
Saturday 30 May | Princess Square
A much‑loved character arrives at The Lexicon! Little ones can come and see Bluey at intervals throughout the day!
Families can take part in a free trail across The Lexicon, spotting pups in shop windows along the way.
