Part Time Sales Assistant

We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at our busy vape shop.
As part of a well-established national franchise, we offer the stability of a recognised brand while maintaining the friendly, supportive atmosphere of a small local business. We take pride in providing knowledgeable advice and excellent customer service, and we're looking for someone who shares those values. Vaping & Retail experience and knowledge is preferable, however is not required.
We're flexible on hours and are open to recruiting either one or two part-time team members, depending on the successful applicants. Pay is variable depending on candidate and age.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting customers and delivering excellent customer service.
- Providing advice on our range of vaping products and helping customers find the right solutions (full training provided).
- Operating the till and processing card and cash payments.
- Replenishing stock and maintaining attractive product displays.
- Keeping the store clean, organised and welcoming.
- Assisting with deliveries and stock management.
- Ensuring all sales are carried out responsibly and in line with age-verification policies.
- We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and confident speaking with customers.
- Honest, reliable and punctual.
- Eager to learn about our products and provide informed advice.
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a small team.
- Flexible to work weekdays, weekends and occasional additional hours when required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
