Hot Pink Wellies
Published 31 May 2019
Once upon a time at The Lexicon, Bracknell, a magical Fairy Godmother granted 7 shoppers the shopping trip of their dreams. Katy Reeve, aka blogger Hot Pink Wellies, was one of them.
Read on to hear all about her experience and see if her shopping trip made her happy ever after.
Arriving in style
I love that it’s so easy to park at The Lexicon - lots of spaces available, and they’re nice and big too, so it’s easy to get the kids out and in. It is a really lovely shopping environment, not hectic and crowded but busy enough to have a lovely buzz.
A treat just for me
My treat for the day was an eyeshadow palette from Charlotte Tilbury at Fenwick. I love her colours and her luxury palettes have perfect names – Vintage Vamp, Glamour Muse, Rock Chick, Sophisticate are my favourites.
A leisurely lunch
My lunchtime wish was Wagamama. The food is so delicious. If you like Asian food, you’ll love it here. It always feels so relaxed and friendly too so the ideal place for a bit of time out before hitting the shops again. Bill’s and Carluccio’s are also favourites of mine.
My dream shop at The Lexicon has to be Fenwick. I could browse forever in there! I love the beauty counters - lipstick is my must have, and I’ll happily devote hours to finding the perfect shade. A visit to Topshop, New Look and M&S is always on the agenda too, and I love picking out new accessories at Accessorise and filling my basket at Primark.
I love Coffee Barker. There’s always loads of comfy seating available, a great atmosphere, and great coffee.
Spread the love
You can’t beat a girly shopping trip, and I’m well overdue one with my sister. She will absolutely love The Lexicon. We’re planning a trip together very soon!
