Once upon a time at The Lexicon, Bracknell, a magical Fairy Godmother granted 7 shoppers the shopping trip
Once upon a time at The Lexicon, Bracknell, Lifestyle Consultant, Style Blogger and Instagram star Hayley Karseras (aka Lady of the Manor) was transported into a wonderful new world of shopping.

Wide eyed in wonder
I can’t believe The Lexicon has been here for a year and this is the first time I’ve visited! It’s so great to find an out of town shopping centre that has all my favourites in such a clean, well set out environment. It’s just 40 minutes from home and the parking was incredibly easy – perfect!
A beeline to all my best shops
My must-visits are H&M, Topshop and River Island, so I made a beeline for H&M and bought myself a leopard print dress and beautiful cream jacket. I can never resist L’Occitane – it smells gorgeous and they have THE best products.
M&S never lets me down and Primark at The Lexicon is the best one I have ever been to – beautifully organised, friendly and the best range of products I have seen in any of their stores.
Who needs London?
My kids are still little, but I’ve got loads of friends who take their teenagers into London. With a Jack Wills, Superdry and Fat Face all right next to each other, there’s no need. Same for me – I’ve always gone to the Fenwick, so it’s amazing to know there’s one right here, so close to my home!
Is there anything more luxurious than a Jo Malone candle? I don’t think so. There’s a fabulous selection at Fenwick, and the staff there are so friendly. For kids gifts, try Flying Tiger of Copenhagen – my daughter loves this shop. It’s so much fun, but be warned, you walk in thinking you don’t need much and walk out with bags full of stuff.
Lunch date, anyone?
Next time I visit, I’m going to bring my friends and have a long, lazy lunch at Carluccios. Their set menu is such a great deal and you can add a glass of wine for just £3.75. Don’t mind if I do!
If Italian’s not your thing, there are loads of other eating places to choose from, or some great coffee shops if you just want a quick pit stop.
See you there!
I’ve never known a shopping centre that is so easy to navigate, with such easy access. It feels spacious, stylish and the variety of high-end shops is amazing. With all my favourite shops and some newbies to explore, I can’t wait to come back.
