The Mummy Stylist

Once upon a time, family, fashion and furniture blogger The Mummy Stylist (aka Sabrina Jillah) took a trip, with her toddler in tow, to The Lexicon Bracknell.
Read on to find out what they got up to.
With most shopping centres, they layouts are like a maze and you can easily get lost. At The Lexicon, it’s just a simple, rectangular space on one floor. You’re straight into the shops as you walk out from the lifts from the car park. That feels really exciting! I love the map mural that shows you where everything is, and everyone was so smiley. There’s a really happy atmosphere.
Great for kids
The experience is lovely because everything is so shiny and bright and clean. The open roof makes it feel like you’re outside, but still sheltered. It was easy to walk around with my toddler and we were both very impressed by the toy section in Fenwick! I always thought that a posh department store like that might not be child friendly, but that is far from the truth! The top floor is a fantastic environment for kids, and that was a lovely surprise.
Spoiled for choice
There is a great range of shops here – everything I could ever want. Next, H&M, Primark and M&S for clothes, L’Occitane for handcreams, Joules for that posh coat I love, Fenwick for homeware (especially fluffy towels, crockery, faux flowers and candles) and Flying Tiger for all the cute kitchen accessories.
It’s great to see all the big names, and a nice mix of expensive and affordable brands.
Time for a treat
The toy department at Fenwick was just too irresistible. Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol came with us to Costa. Latte and muffin for me, babyccino and gingerman for my very happy toddler.
I’d like to bring my best friend next time I visit. This place is perfect for girly shopping trips – clothes shopping and then coffee and a natter, or even lunch.
