THE LEXICON SNOWFLAKE TRAIL ART WINNERS REVEALED

Thirteen local children are celebrating today after being announced as the winners of The Lexicon’s annual Christmas Art competition.

This year, children were asked to create bright and colourful Snowflakes, for the town centre’s Snowflake Trail, which will take place from November 26 2022 to January 4 2022.

Young artist Hannah Misselbrook age 6, who is a pupil at St Michael’s Easthampstead Primary School was chosen as the winner. Hannah has won £200 worth of Giotto art products for her school, plus a Giotto Stilnovo pen and pencil box to use at home and a £50 Gift Voucher from The Lexicon.  Matthew Barker age 10, a pupil at Our Lady’s Prep School, also won a £25 Gift Voucher, Giotto art products worth £200 for his school and a Giotto Stilnovo art set to use at home.

Sue Boor, head of marketing at The Lexicon says:

“We were delighted to receive almost 200 entries for this year’s Christmas Art competition. As always it was an extremely difficult task to narrow the lovely designs down to the 13 that will appear in our Snowflake Trail, as all the entries were fabulous.  A huge thank you to Daler Rowney for their continued support.”

All the winning designs will be displayed in retailers’ windows across the town centre forming a magical Snowflake Trail.

Visitors to The Lexicon can pick up a Snowflake Trail entry form from the leaflet stands within Princess Square, the welcome hall of The Avenue and several retailers throughout the town.
