Our runners are hitting the streets to raise funds for The Lexicon Charity Fund (1155173), managed by the Berkshire Community Foundation. This charity links local people with local projects, making sure support reaches the communities that need it most.
Since 2018, the Fund has awarded nearly £60,000 worth of grants to 16 local organisations, supporting schools, educational programmes and a wide range of community services. Every grant makes a real difference across Bracknell Forest. Our next round of grants will form part of the 10th Birthday celebrations for The Lexicon next year.
A huge part of our fundraising comes from The Lexicon Half Marathon, organised by Everyone Active for Bracknell Forest Council. This year, seven runners will proudly represent Team Lexicon:
🏃Tom Henderson – Centre Director for The Lexicon
🏃Gareth Slaughter – Director for CAKE Marketing Agency
🏃 Steve Iles – Director for ABM Soft Service Providers
🏃 Amy Cunnington – Store Manager for MOSS
🏃 Muhammad Khalil – Duty Manager at The Lexicon
🏃 Nishan Shrestha – Security Operative at The Lexicon
🏃 Olivia Mead – ABM Administrator at The Lexicon
Race details:
• Date: Sunday, May 10, 2026
• Start time: 8:45am
• Location: Bond Square (outside, by the steps between M&S and Waitrose)
The annual Half Marathon has been a much-loved local tradition for 42 years, and for the past nine, The Lexicon has been part of its ongoing success. This year, our goal is to raise £3,500 to help even more community groups. Every donation counts, no matter the size. Support Team Lexicon today and help us make a lasting difference across Bracknell Forest!
