The Lexicon Charity Express will return to the town centre, during February half term, to offer shoppers a mini tour and raise money for The Lexicon Charity Fund.
Running from Saturday, February 12 to Wednesday, February 16 2022, between 10am and 5pm, the ever popular land train will pick-up passengers outside Yi Fang, to complete a loop of The Lexicon, travelling down Eagle Lane, along the High Street, turning into Braccan Walk and back to The Avenue.
Sue Boor, head of marketing at The Lexicon says: “The land train is always really popular and not only adds an extra element of fun for visitors to the town centre but helps to raise money for local causes. Over the 5 days there is also a chance to win one of ten £10 gift vouchers from The Entertainer.
Don't forget to pick up a template for The Lexicon conductors hat for a chance to win a gift voucher from The Entertainer. Closing date for entries have now been extended until Sunday 27 February. A template for the conductors hat can also be found here"
Trips on The Lexicon Charity Express will be charged at £1.00 per passenger (sorry no cash), as visitors board the train, with all monies being donated to The Lexicon Charity Fund.
The Lexicon Charity Fund (Charity Number: 1155173), is managed in conjunction with Berkshire Community Foundation [BCF], an independent charity that connects local people with local causes and projects.
