THE LEXICON’S ANNUAL CHRISTMAS ART COMPETITION

With Christmas fast approaching, The Lexicon has today launched its annual Christmas art competition sponsored by Daley Rowney which has been running for the past six years! The competition offers local children aged 4-12 years a unique chance to be part of the town centre’s Christmas activity and there are prizes worth over £1,000 to be won!

Children can get involved by creating and decorating a Christmas Bauble design, using crayons, felt-tip pens, paints or even a computer, using the template provided. 

We are looking for brightly coloured baubles in fact the brighter the better.  The design must be the child’s own work and should be something that will appeal to all age groups.

The winning designs will form part of a Christmas Bauble Trail, located in retailer windows in the town centre.  

• The winners of each age group (4-6;  7-9 and 10-12) will each receive a Gift Card from The Lexicon worth £35 and a Giotto School Bumper pack prize worth £300 each;

• Each of the nine finalists will receive a Gift Card from The Lexicon worth £10.   

Closing date for entries is Sunday, November 5 2023.
