As part of the Forest Springs event, on Saturday, April 9 2022, The Lexicon will be playing host to an afternoon and evening of live music and dance, in Bond Square on the temporarily named Riverbank Stage.

From local dance performers to solo vocalists, sing-a-long groups to a highly successful national band, there’s something for all ages to enjoy.  This event will take place from 1.00 pm and visitors are invited to come along to Bond Square and join in the fun.

• The incredible North Ascot Academy of Performing Arts will open the show at 1.00 pm entertaining visitors with fabulous singing and dancing.
• At 2.00 pm the wonderful local community choir, Vocalese will take to the stage, singing a wide range of your favourite pop songs.
• The next act up at 3.00 pm, is Jen Merchant, giving you a retro twist on some vintage jazz and swing classics.
• At 4.00 pm, singer and songwriter, James Farrant, will perform a series of rock and pop anthems that everyone will be singing along too.
• Next on the line-up at 5.00 pm, is songwriter, Abi Powell performing a mix of her own songs alongside some well-known classics.
• At 6.00 pm, the Riverbank Stage will be filled with The Originals, a five-piece band ready to get everyone on their feet dancing with a collection of reggae, blues, and more.
• And finally, at 7.00 pm, TikTok sensation, Here At Last, will take the stage for the celebration finale. The popular boyband was formed in 2020 and already have more than 2.5 million TikTok followers.

Rob Morris, general manger at The Lexicon says: “Due to Covid, we haven’t been able to bring all the community together for a while and are absolutely delighted that we can do this again, with such a fabulous, varied line-up.”

Cllr Marc Brunel-Walker, executive member for economic development and regeneration at Bracknell Forest Council says: “Forest Springs is all about providing the local community with a huge range of activities to enjoy through the Easter holidays. The Riverbank Saturday Celebration is just one of the many exciting activities that we have planned for visitors to the town centre.
