A printmaker and painter inspired by classical architecture, nature, myth and folklore she has built an ever evolving library of images and symbols. These weave their way into her bold and colourful designs which take the viewer for a moment into a secret space somewhere between reality and a dreamscape. As well as honing her own practice, Emily runs workshops with a focus on lino printing and also takes commissions from businesses and private clients.
An artist who splits her time between a career in illustration and scenic art in film and TV. She specialises in fine art illustration using media such as inks, gouache, oil paints and watercolours. She is currently a scenic art assistant on the live-action movie ‘Barbie’.
A Dutch-British artist creating multimedia paintings, drawings, sculpture, and graffiti. Her work is bold, playful, wildly diverse, full of colour and movement, always evoking a strong sense of life and sensitivity. Babette studied a BA Geography at University College London (2015-2019) and a Master's in Environmental Technology at Imperial College London (2019-2020).
Please note that photographers and videographers will be in The Lexicon between 5 and 16 April for Forest Springs. Images taken will be used by Bracknell Forest Council and The Lexicon for publicity and marketing purposes.
