Last night, February 6 2023, saw retailers, restaurants, cafés, leisure and beauty services gather at Cineworld for the 2nd The Lexicon Awards Gala evening.
Hosted by former Love Island contestant, Chris Hughes, the event was attended by more than 250 people.
The awards celebrate teams and individuals working within the town centre that have consistently delivered outstanding levels of customer service.
More than 2,500 votes were received from visitors to The Lexicon, who have been voting for their favourite store, coffee shop, restaurant or individual with categories ranging from Best Restaurant to Service with a Smile.
Rob Morris, general manager at The Lexicon says:
“Due to the impact of Covid, we haven’t held these awards for the past two years and so were delighted to formally acknowledge those people and teams that the public had recognised as providing excellent customer service. Twenty percent of the awards this year were won by independent businesses, which was great to see. A huge thank you to everyone that voted and attended the awards ceremony.”
