Please read these
promotion rules carefully. By entering a promotion, you are deemed to accept
and be bound by these terms and conditions.
1. To enter a
promotion, you must be: (a) a resident in Berkshire or its neighbouring
counties; and (b) aged 18 years or over at the time of entry
2. The promotion
will run from 12:00 noon 30 November 2023 to 12.00 noon 13 January 2024 (the
"Promotion Period").
3. To participate in
promotion, entrants must complete the online entry form for The Lexicon
Awards on The Lexicon website – www.thelexiconbracknell.com
4. The promotion
will have nine winners and the "Prize" is a gift card from The Lexicon
worth £50.00 each – a total of £450.00 worth of gift cards.
5.
Only one vote per category and each category vote is automatically entered into the gift card draw for that category.
6. The winners of
the promotion will be randomly selected from all of the completed online
entries via www.thelexiconbracknell.com. The draw will take place
at 10.00am on 22 January 2024.
7. Prizes is as
stated and no cash alternative is available. The Promoter reserves the right to
award alternative prizes of equal or greater value, should the advertised prize
become unavailable for any reason.
8. Promotions are
not open to employees (or members of their immediate families) of the Promoter,
its agencies or anybody connected with the promotions.
9. No purchase
necessary to enter.
10. Duplicate entries
will be automatically disqualified.
11. The winners will
be notified by 31 January 2024 and the prize will need to be collected from The
Lexicon Management Suite, Bracknell (Located LG in The Avenue Car Park,
available to collect Mon-Fri 9am-5pm) within seven working days. The winner will
need to bring a form of ID. Unfortunately, the prize/s cannot be posted to
the winner/s.
12. The winners must contact
with The Lexicon via their contact number within 48 hours of the Promoter
notifying them that they have won a prize. The Lexicon will attempt to contact
the winner three times. In the event that a winner fails to provide details
within this period, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative
winner from all remaining entries, with the originally selected winner
forfeiting their right to the prize.
13. Each promotion
result is final and no correspondence will be entered into, except with the
winners.
14. Details of the nine winners can be obtained by sending an SAE to The Lexicon – The Lexicon Awards Free Prize Draw 2023, The Lexicon Management Suite, The Avenue Car Park, Bracknell, RG12 1AP to be received no later than 28 February 2024.
15. The Promoter is
not responsible or liable for any entries that fail to be submitted or are
delayed for any reason. Proof of submitting an entry is not proof of receipt
with the Promoter. The Promoter cannot be responsible in the event that it is
unable to contact a winner, or a winner fails to receive their prize, as a
result of having provided inaccurate or incorrect contact/address details.
16. Promotion winners
may be required to participate in future publicity.
17. The Promoter
reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or suspend any promotion
or extend the entry period or disqualify any participant at any time without
giving advance notice, in the event that it cannot be guaranteed that a
promotion can be carried out fairly or correctly for technical, legal or other
reasons or if the Promoter suspects that any person has been manipulating
entries or the prize draws or has acted unethically or in breach of these terms
and conditions in any way.
18. Entrants are
deemed to have accepted the entry rules set out in all promotional materials
and these terms and conditions when participating in a promotion running during
the Promotion Period.
19. If any of the
provisions of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid or
unenforceable in whole or in part that part shall be severed from the remainder
of the provisions and the validity of the other provisions and the remainder of
the provision in question shall not be affected.
20. These terms and
conditions shall be governed by English law and any dispute shall be subject to
the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
21. Winners names
and addresses will be held by the Promoter for 30 days after which the data
will be deleted. The data is held for this period of time to ensure compliance
with the other terms and conditions of the competition, including arranging for
delivery of prizes to winners. Any winner can request for their data to be
deleted before the expiry of this period by writing to The Lexicon, The Lexicon
Management Suite, The Avenue Car Park, Bracknell, RG12 1AP, although the
Promoter cannot be held responsible if such request means that it is not
possible for delivery of that winners prize to be completed.
