Elderma the Forest Guardian

Come and meet this gentle grandmother, stand in the palm of her giant hand and listen to her wise words in this magical forest takeover in Princess Square.  She will be on the lookout for future Forest Guardians, encouraging all ages to make a pledge to help protect the forest for future generations.

The new Forest Guardian area, will host the new Green & Active Heroes volunteer scheme, designed to encourage people within the borough to get outdoors and closer to nature.  Green & Active Heroes, will be run in partnership with Bracknell based involve Community Services, a local charity specialising in the volunteer and community sector. 

Meet the team from EcoAwards who will be in Princess Square chatting about rewarding green and active travel choices on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August as well as Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 September.

Everyone that enters The Night Forest will be given a free limited-edition pop-badge (while stocks last) featuring one of our Seedling Sprites. They are also available by completing the Seedling Sprites trail, making a pledge with Elderma the Forest Guardian or by following the musical Tails & Trails team.


Please note there will be photographers and/or videographers in town for Bracknell Forest Festival. Images taken will be used by The Lexicon and Bracknell Forest Council for publicity and marketing purposes.
