Over 350 entries have been received from school children who have been decorating Christmas stars using crayons, felt-tip pens, paints or even a computer, using the template provided. The overall winner will receive a gift voucher the value of £50 and the second placed runner-up, a £25 voucher. In addition, both winners will also receive a fabulous pack of Giotto art products worth £200 for their school. The other shortlisted winners will also receive a gift voucher worth £10 each.
Huge congratulations to overall winner Phoebe at Great Hollands Primary School and second placed Maya at Harmans Water Primary School, who win gift vouchers for themselves and a fabulous pack of Giotto art products for their school. Nine other winners have been chosen from St Paul’s C of E Junior School; Waverley School; St Michael's Easthampstead Primary School; Ascot Heath Primary School; Sandy Lane Primary School and Jennett’s Park CE Primary School will also receive a gift voucher worth £10 each. Well done to all the winners.
The winning designs will all now form part of a Christmas Star Trail, located in retailer windows in the town centre. Simply identify the shops and restaurants from the clues provided, look for the star in the window and with the corresponding letter unscramble the letters to work our a festive phase.
