The Lexicon is delighted to announce that it will be holding its annual FREE Summer Proms on Saturday, 2 September 2023.

From 2.00 pm until 8.00 pm visitors to the town centre, will be able to sit on the giant steps in Bond Square (between M&S and Waitrose), and enjoy a fabulous afternoon and evening of entertainment featuring an array of talented performers, including a Britian’s Got Talent winner, and a host of diverse local acts.  

Host for the day is Sandy Grigelis who trained at the London School of Musical Theatre, an actor, singer/songwriter and accomplished musician performing at profile events including at the Monaco Grand Prix for Prince Albert the Monarch of Monaco, major festivals and Wembley Arena. He is also known for his time as a judge alongside Geri Halliwell on All Together Now for BBC1.

16:50 Crystal Gospel Choir A group who believe there is Power in The Voice!,  made up from highly skilled professional singers all with a passion for Gospel Music. The choir prides itself on beautiful harmonies, inspirational vocals and amazing musicianship with a mission is to bring Gospel music with love, energy and flair.
17:30 EBOS Musical Theatre One of the leading amateur dramatic and musical theatre societies in Berkshire. We produce a minimum of four shows every year and perform in the Wilde Theatre at South Hill Park in Bracknell and in our own 70 seat Pinewood Theatre in Wokingham.
18:05 The Trawlermen Forget what you think you know about folk music! Dara, Justin and Tony are three friends who, drawing on their varied musical backgrounds, aim to breathe new life into traditional tunes. Performing as a trio with guitar, double bass and violin they have travelled all over the world bringing their infectious energy, laughter and folky fun to audiences on both land and sea.
19:00 The Boulevards Rock & Roll, done the proper way. In a nutshell, that is The Boulevards - a sensational vintage-styled rock and roll band performing the biggest and best hits from the 1950's and early 60's. Without compromise. A band full of expert musicians and entertainers that will ROCK and keep everyone dancing.
